"The Clay Kitchen in Lio El Nido truly lives up to the good reviews. The food is comforting, generous, and full of flavor. We ordered the sausage and pepper, lasagna, and creamy chicken pesto and everything was satisfying. The lasagna was a highlight because the serving was very big and perfect for sharing. Each dish felt well cooked and thoughtfully prepared, the kind of food you crave again after leaving. What really makes the experience better is the service. Special shoutout to Ms. Mariel who was very accommodating and radiated such positive energy. She made us feel welcome from start to finish. Overall the food is one of the best and really worth it for its price. Definitely a place that deserves the praise and one we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Lio El Nido."

"" Quality pizza and Italian restaurant , in lio beach " Good evening my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ , hope the festive period has brought you stronger in the holy spirit. Today brings us to a new destination slightly away from el Nido at a place called the clay kitchen in lio beach. There's quite a few restaurants at the beach so I'm looking forward to doing reviews for them. In terms of the clay kitchen ? Defo impressed , liked the style of the place , menus were pretty funky (the shape of a pizza) which was a cool touch. Didn't have anything too fancy on the menu , nice and simple , which is completely fine with me. I opted for the classic 12 inch Margherita pizza , coming in at 530 pesos (including service charge). Unfortunately I wasn't able to sit down and eat at the restaurant due to the works that was going on upstairs , so I ended up getting a takeaway. Very good pizza , from the dough , to the mozzarella to the tomatoes , was all quality and a healthy amount of basil which is what seems to be lacking in the majority of Margherita pizzas amazingly....and my only criticism ironically is perhaps the basil leaves, not too sure why there wasn't much of a hint of basil coming through with the amount that I got , but perhaps they could of been fresher ? But that's me just being a bit of a perfectionist. Gonna keep this one short to be fair as I'm a little knacked and off to sleep. If you fancy checking out lio beach and in the mood for a classic pizza , lasagna or something of the Italian flavours , that isn't too expensive , quality ingredients that extremely close to the beach front , then this is for you. "Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant had a relaxed and chill vibe. They had a great live guitarist playing throughout our dinner. Excellent steak for a great price, mashed potatoes and vegetables were good too. The pork belly was also delicious with great flavor. Also ordered a margarita and it did not disappoint. Overall 5/5, would highly recommend and will be back next time I'm at Lio beach."
